Acadia will take about 2 to 3 days to fully explore, so an overnight stay will be necessary for a full exploration of the park. Hotels include the Acadia Inn and the Emry's Cottage resort. If you'd prefer to sleep under the stars in the Maine wilderness there's the Blackwoods and Seawall campsites located inside the Park. Prices for the campgrounds range from $10 to $20 depending on the time of year.

Acadia's riddled with hiking trails such as the Jordan Pond Nature Trail, or the Great Meadow loop to name a few. These trails pass through the gorgeous Maine landscapes, along the ocean, up mountains, through forests and meadows, all of which are a part of Acadia. During the winter, several trails are closed, but the land is beautiful nonetheless. If you are planning to hike during the winter, be sure to wear a coat and snow pants.
